I'm a penetration tester at PureCyber, based in Wales. I spend my days breaking into networks, applications and people's assumptions about their own security posture.

A pentest is a point in time. "We had a test five months ago" doesn't make you secure when a new vulnerability dropped last week. Cyber security is an ongoing mission - daily, weekly, monthly, yearly — not a checkbox.

Beyond the day job I've spoken at Scumdiff City Stadium with Business Wales on the threats organisations face daily, and travelled to London to demonstrate social engineering live on Sky Kids FYI.

When I'm not at a keyboard I play football - currently sidelined with a reconstructed ACL. I hike when I can, and spend too much time at DnB festivals. I used to visit a new country every month until my knee had other ideas.
